Americans for the Arts' "Knowledge Exchange"
American for the Arts' inaugural "Knowledge Exchange: District-Wide Change in Arts Education" will feature Los Angeles County's successful Arts for All, an initiative focused on enabling sequential K-12 arts education in Los Angeles County school districts. Participants will share knowledge, grapple with key questions, and actively synthesize information for applicability to participant communities anywhere in the nation. October 27-28, 2008. ASCD Workshop: "Differentiated Instruction: Beginning the Journey"
The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) offers a professional development workshop that gives an in-depth understanding of how to recognize and respond to students' varied readiness levels for new learning, honor and celebrate their diverse interests, and understand their unique preferences for how they learn new information and practice new skills.
