An Ode to Roz Ragans!

Roz Ragans, SRA and Glencoe/McGraw-Hill's leading K-12 art education author was recently featured in the July, 2008 issue of Art Education, The Journal of the National Art Education Association.

The article, Influencing K-12 Art Programs: A Biographical Look at ArtTalk Author Rosalind Ragans, discusses Roz's contributions to and the development of Glencoe's ArtTalk, the first art education textbook to bring together the teaching of art history, criticism, aesthetics, and artistic performance.

Since it was first published in 1988, ArtTalk has been the standard by which all other art education textbooks have been measured.

Twenty years later, Roz is now the leading author of all of SRA and Glencoe/McGraw-Hill's K-12 art education textbooks.
